During last century most of the Cabernet Franc in Friuli was mistaken and confused with Carménère grape and so planted. This actually explains the greener character that some of it shows but it also true that through the years people in Friuli get used to this taste and today it is correct to say that a good Cabernet Franc must show that character.

Macerated for 10 days and aged is stainless steal for 20 months before bottling, the wine shows lots of spiciness, fresh red pepper (the vegetable), and black pepper.

This Cabernet Franc from the Friuli Venezia Giulia has an intense ruby red color and a fruity fragrance with notes of freshly cut grass.
