A velvety wine of an intense garnet-red colour with the aromas of cherry jam, raisin and spice that are characteristic of this wine. Its long aging in wood nicely complements these characteristics, adding to the complexity the wine. With its wonderfully fresh aromas, this full wine is soft and clean on the palate, with lingering aftertaste of cacao and spices.

Winemaker notes: Aristocratic Amarone is one of the jewels of the Italian winemaking. Selected hand-harvested and withered grapes loose more than 30-32% of their weight, increasing concentration inside berries.

Food matches: Red meats, roast and grilled dishes, game and all long seasoned cheeses.

Serving temperature: Definitely at room temperature (18°C). It benefits from decanting.
