Märke: Bigi
Gradering : 13% vol.
This wine, with its intense ruby-red colour, is produced 100% from the grape variety of the same name, the most cultivated in Italy, and especially in the centre. In Umbria the Sangiovese grapes are trained by the traditional Guyot system exclusively in the hilly zone. The fermentation and the ageing only in steel tanks, and without any time in wood, maintain the varietal notes unchanged thereby enhancing a notable softness of the fruity tones. Bigi started to vinify the pure sangiovese of Umbria with the 1997 vintage.
