The history of Zavoli began after the war, with the opening of a butcher's shop in Cattolica. In the 1970s, they decided to create a closed-cycle company: cultivation, breeding, and processing are all carried out entirely within the company, guaranteeing quality, transparency, and trust for consumers.
The company's core business is pig farming and the processing of magnificent cured meats, with three different breeds: Rustichello Romagnolo (pink pig), Mora Romagnola (a local variety of black pig), and Mangalitza, the famous sheep pig native to Hungary.
The cured meats are made exclusively using traditional methods, using only salt and pepper as ingredients in their production, strictly avoiding the use of chemical additives that alter their taste. The result is healthy and genuine products that are easily digestible and safe for our health.
