Tasting notes: Intense, vivid garnet color, ruby touches. On the nose fleshy fruit, black cherry, plum, sweet notes of bourbon vanilla, but still incense, oriental spices, a balsamic trace revives the whole and reminds of eucalyptus, closes the sweet liquorice. On the palate it is juicy, round, with taste fullness enlivened by a vibrant acidity.

Pairing: Excellent with risotto with sausage, pappardelle with hare ragout, beef stew, medium-aged cheeses.
