Time is suitable and the environment is circumscribed by a friendly element that has been by its side for ages: wood. When the union between these two elements, wood and wine, becomes a balanced path of life, which meets a final high quality project, then time becomes the unique and essential catalyst that leads to outstanding results. That's exactly what we're looking for.
The barrel turns into the perfect partner that is expected to make the wine express the most of itself, far from the ambition for protagonism which crushes its own content. Should all be perfectly planned and obsessively controlled, nothing else is needed. It is out of this "idleness" as well as total "rest" that the wine benefits from. The Trebbiano is the perfect protagonist in this slow path. It stands while it is working restlessly in order to enhance. The wine evolves in the barrel in whole diversity and concreteness: juice and seeds, skin and pulp , always together and still, for several months. The bottle steps into the scene only when the process is fittingly concluded.
GRAPES: Trebbiano d'Abruzzo; it's hand-picked during the end of October with selection on the cluster.
