They were the first tomatoes that came from the Americas, hence the name "pomo d'oro", due precisely to the yellow color. It is a very special tomato, for its coloring, for its composition (it contains carotenoids, flavonoids and vitamin C) and for its structure: the particularly thick peel allows to obtain a very thick puree!

But this tomato also hides a secret: it has no acidity, this makes our puree a real gem in the kitchen, it will allow you to create a perfect combination even with fish dishes.
