Sa Raja is a fancy name, a play on words with an evocative sound, almost a chant. It recalls a typically Sardinian inflection. The vineyards of Sa Raja arise in Gallura, a land that has always been dedicated to viticulture, on the slopes of Mount Limbara: an ancient centuries-old vineyard protected from the winds, framed by centuries-old woods of olive, holm oak and cork trees. Sardinian, red berry color, imposing like a nuraghe, with the scent of almond trees in bloom, primitive memory of an ancient vine. It is the ideal wine for roasts, game and cheeses with a strong and spicy taste, perfect if tasted as an accompaniment to red meats and salami.
