Mrke: Nonino
It is obtained by the harmonious union of grape distillates made from Monovitigno® grape varieties such as Schioppettino, Refosco and Fragolino.
Round, velvety, possessing great aromatic richness reminiscent of forest fruit and a scent of spices.
FEATURES
Primary product
A selection of recently harvested red grapes, of single vines Schioppettino, Refosco and Fragolino, picked at the correct ripeness level in order to preserve the perfume and flavours of the original vine varieties.
Fermentation
In stainless steel tanks under vacuum and in a controlled temperature environment. This is followed immediately by distillation in order to avoid harmful secondary fermentations.
Artisanal Distillation
Batch method according to our ancient family tradition in special artisanal batch steam stills created by Benito Nonino for the distillation of grape. The distillation happens very slowly to allow the volatile components, responsible for the perfumes, a proper evaporation period and subsequent condensation, in order to keep intact the precious organoleptic characteristics of the chosen vine varieties.
Production
Limited and strictly dependent on the individual year’s harvest.
Maturation
From six months to a year in stainless steel tanks.
Alcohol content
38% vol
Optimum temperature
It should be served at 12°C in a glass with an open tulip shape.
Tasting
Before tasting, ÙE® Uvarossa® should be allowed to rest in the glass for some minutes: on exposure to oxygen, the perfumes are enhanced and the nose/palate harmony is perfected.
When and how to drink ÙE® Uvarossa®
Drunk, sipped or lingered over at the end of a meal or at any moment of the day it is a source of real pleasure!
Thanks to its aromatic richness ÙE® Uvarossa® can be added to enhance all ice-cream. It is excellent on a fresh forest fruit salad or in a sorbet. It goes unforgettably well with dark chocolate or chocolate-based desserts.
