This flour produced by Mulino Marino with ancient varieties of fine corn, grown according to the principles of organic farming without preservatives, wholemeal, perfect to accompany delicate dishes of meat and vegetables. May contain traces of gluten. INGREDIENTS Corn. Contains gluten.
HOW TO MAKE POLENTA (without stirring)
Use a thick-bottomed pot with a flame spreader screen to even out the heat. Heat the water, before boiling pour in the flour stirring with a whisk so that it does not make lumps. Once the flour has been added, stir for a few more minutes, then lower the heat, put a lid on and stir every now and then, allowing it to cook for the time indicated.
Doses:
COARSE 200gr. per liter of water
FINE 220gr. per liter of water
Cooking times:
COARSE 120 minutes about
FINE about 90 minutes.
Being ancient corn, not irrigated in the field and very vitreous, the more you cook it, the sweeter and more sweet the polenta becomes.
